It is designed to engage and educate visitors about the Ballona Watershed. This “museum without walls” was conceived by Friends of Ballona Wetlands and its partners, Loyola Marymount University and Playa Vista, with the guidance of Gabrielino/Tongva partners and other local stakeholders, and opened in 2011.
Located at 13110 Bluff Creek Drive, Playa Vista, CA, 90094, Ballona Discovery Park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
